Originally from the
North of Palestine, Ma�lia village in the upper Galilee. Valantina
Saleem Tamam Abu Oqsa was born in 1967. She currently lives in Haifa
with her Jerusalemite husband and their two sons Nashed and Yaman.
She is one of the co-founders of the Palestinian Theatre League.
Classified as a self
starter who is exceptional in her work. She continuously rises in
her magnificent performances on stage, leaving her audience
mesmerized and always wanting more.
A woman artist who is
known to fight for everything that she believes and wants,
particularly when it comes to theatre and art. On stage, she is
eye-catching, one cannot not notice her, or her distinguished
talents. A self made individual, a professional at work, a poet in
her writing who. She is a self made person, a professional when
working with children, a poet in writing, full of courage and
rebellion.
Strong, stubborn and
persistent, always unshakable when dealing with Palestinian issues,
theatre and women rights. Constantly striving for the best,
rejecting low standards. Simply unstoppable thanks to her braveness
and her strong believe in freedom of rights.
An extremist sometimes, with not limitations in her daily life, even
characterized as aggressive occasionally, but at the same time a
warm mother, sensitive, generous and very optimistic. A smart and
responsible wife, with a sent of relaxation, neatness and security
at her home. Valantina enjoys a simple harmony between her personal
life and her professional success. |
